While I Was Listening to Ute Wassermann (Take 1)

How to play/stay together when we are not able to meet anymore?
In this new series created for The Corona Diaries (check link below), I record solo pieces while listening to other musicians/partners/friends solos through headphones.
The result are solo pieces with a structure inspired by another musician's; it is as if this musician is whispering to me what to play in realtime.
The idea is not to mimic the other solo though – that would be quite boring – but rather to play with another musician's pace and sensibility.
It is both an homage and a an open letter to a close musician that I cannot meet for the time being. It is also a way to be together for a moment in those confinement days.

This solo was recorded while i was listening to Ute Wassermann's Strange Song 6 (from her album Strange Songs).
